IP License Question?

In your rule section, you stated that 3rd party companies that make their tools/knowledge available for use during the event own their intellectual property (IP), including any projects that incorporate their tools, knowledge, etc.

A 3rd party company that we are considering to use their tools/knowledge for the event offers a trial license.
for those interested in exploring the use of their IP technology. The Trial License allows experimentation outside of the open source license, but does not confer any commercial rights. Would that be ok?
